Cookies

What cookies and browser storage the Ion Mesh Investment Review site uses. No analytics cookies; only a locally stored consent preference. Taiwan has no dedicated cookie statute.

Taiwan has no dedicated statute governing cookies. The consent banner on this site is therefore the desk's own practice, not a legal mandate imposed by Taiwanese law. This page honestly describes what the site stores in your browser and what it does not.

What cookies are

A cookie is a small text file a website asks your browser to keep and send back on later visits. Browser storage covers a broader set of items a site can place in your browser, including localStorage entries. This site uses localStorage only, and for a single purpose described below.

Types of cookie

It is conventional to separate essential cookies — needed for the site to function — from analytics cookies that measure how the site is used. This site sets no analytics cookies. There is no measurement of pages viewed, scroll depth, or returning visitors, and no third-party advertising cookies. The banner choice is the only thing the site stores.

Actual storage used by this site

NamePurposeDurationProvider
ionmesh.digital-consentRemembers whether you accepted or rejected the cookie banner so the banner is not shown again on every page.Kept until you clear browser storage or change the choice via the banner.ionmesh.digital (first-party, localStorage)

No other cookies or browser storage items are set by this site. No third-party scripts run on these pages, so no third-party cookies are created.

Managing and disabling storage

You can clear the consent choice at any time by removing the ionmesh.digital-consent entry from your browser's site storage, or by using your browser's standard controls for clearing site data. The banner will then reappear on your next visit. Rejecting the banner does not block any site functionality: every article and the inquiry form remain available whether you accept or reject.

Impact of disabling

If you block localStorage entirely, the banner cannot remember your choice and may reappear on later visits. No content is withheld and no feature is disabled.

Third-party usage

There is none. Fonts are self-hosted on this domain; the JavaScript that powers the consent banner and the inquiry form is also served from ionmesh.digital. No request leaves this origin for a third party.

For how inquiry data is handled, see the privacy notice.
